Lily moved to Magnetic Island in January 2025 and began regularly attending Serenity Yoga classes on the island, introducing herself to the world of yoga. After doing an Ashtanga Workshop of Dani’s in April 2025 she discovered a whole new side to yoga, deepening her practice. Yoga has a really beautiful way of calming the mind. When her body begun feeling stronger & more capable, so did the mind! She’s become devoted to a regular practice both in class and at home, incorporating other mindful techniques and weaving it throughout her days. This is when the practice started to creep off the mat and into all aspects of daily life. Lily completed her 200HR Yoga Teacher Training in March 2026 with House of Om in Ubud, Bali and immediately jumped into running classes at Bounce, Horseshoe Bay. Her approach incorporates pranayama before physical asanas, working the body to calm the mind. Finding a balance between being and doing. Remembering to slow down, tune-in, be present and enjoy movement - no matter how the body is feeling that day. It’s a great practice for beginners and experienced yogis alike.
